Measure and quote
We measure the opening at your home or work from your photos at the showroom. You get a written quote for the door, the opener if you want one, and the install.

Choose the door
Steel, insulated, carriage-house, modern, or fully custom. See full-size doors in St. Clair Shores and preview any of them on a photo of your own home.

Remove the old door
We take down the old door, springs, and track, and we haul it all away. You come home to a finished opening, not a pile.

Install, balance, test
New track, springs, rollers, hinges, cables, and weather seal. We balance the door, connect the opener, and run it until it is right.
Garage door opener installation
We install and connect garage door openers with every new door, and we replace openers on existing doors. Ask us about belt-drive versus chain-drive, battery backup, and smartphone control, and which opener fits your door weight and how often you use it.
Garage door replacement vs. repair
If a spring, cable, or opener fails on a door that is otherwise sound, repair is usually the right call and we will say so. If the panels are rusted or cracked, the door is out of square, or you are on your third spring job, replacement is the better value. Either way we tell you straight. How many layers do I need?
Layer count (1 to 5) affects insulation, strength, and quietness. For attached or living-space-adjacent garages, insulated multi-layer doors are usually worth it. We will advise per your home.
How long does a garage door installation take?
Most single residential doors are installed in one visit. We confirm timing when we quote, since custom and double doors can take longer.
Do I need to be home for the installation?
Someone needs to let us in and walk the finished door with us at the end. Beyond that, we handle it.
What happens to my old garage door?
We remove it and haul it away, along with the old springs, track, and hardware.
Is an insulated garage door worth it in Michigan?
For an attached garage, yes. Insulated doors cut the cold coming through the wall into the house, run quieter, and hold up better to dents.
Do you install garage door openers?
Yes. We install openers with every new door and replace openers on existing doors.
