Garage door spring repair and replacement
A broken torsion or extension spring is the most common garage door failure. The door feels heavy, the opener strains or will not lift it, and you may have heard a loud bang. Springs are under high tension and should not be a DIY job. We replace the spring, balance the door, and check the cables and drums while we are there.
Garage door opener repair and replacement
Opener runs but the door does not move, remote stops working, door reverses on its own, or the motor is loud. Often it is a stripped gear, a worn trolley, or misaligned safety sensors. We repair what makes sense and replace openers that are at the end of their life.
Cable, roller, and track repair
Frayed or snapped cables, worn rollers that squeal or skip, bent track, and doors that have jumped the track. We reset the door, replace the worn parts, and align the track so the door runs straight and quiet.
Off-track doors and panel replacement
A door that is crooked in the opening or stuck halfway should not be forced. We get it back on track and replace bent or damaged panels when the rest of the door is sound.
Weather seal and hardware
Bottom seals, perimeter weatherstripping, hinges, brackets, and locks. Small parts that keep the cold, water, and mice out.
Annual garage door maintenance
A tune-up catches worn springs and cables before they fail. We lubricate, tighten hardware, check balance and opener force, and test the safety reverse.
Repair or replace?
If the door is sound and one part failed, we repair it. Common questions
My garage door spring broke. Can I still open the door?
Do not try to lift it with the opener or by hand; a door without a working spring is very heavy and the cables can slip. Call us and we will get a spring replacement scheduled.
Do you repair garage door openers or only replace them?
Both. Stripped gears, sensors, trolleys, and remotes are often repairable. If the opener is old and the motor is failing, replacement usually makes more sense and we will say so.
What brands of garage doors and openers do you service?
All brands. We install Clopay, Haas, CHI, and Eden Coast, and we service doors and openers from any manufacturer.
