Curb appeal can do wonders to beautify the front of your house and there are dozens of simple and affordable tips to do it. Before starting on a curb appeal project, always consider what your budget is and the time it will take to complete. Plant a Tree – Some of the most beautiful neighborhoods are the ones with the biggest trees lining each curb.  When deciding on a tree to plant, check the size it will grown into and what it will do to your house.  A tree next to the front entranceway or along the street are two places to  consider planting it.  Trees to beautify your home can start at $25.

Lighten Up – New light fixtures brighten a home’s exterior and beauty. Select your light fixtures based on function and style. Light fixtures should not only add sufficient light but also provide safety.  Also, opt for fixtures that have the same mounting system to save time on installing.The cost for light fixtures can start at $20.

Flower Appeal – You can never go wrong with flowers. Hanging flower baskets from the porch ceiling or setting flower boxes along the windows can maximize curb appeal. Flower baskets and boxes start can start at $20.  One thing you do have to keep in mind is caring for flowers. If you travel frequently or have limited time, just stick to the aforementioned tips.
